General description of the collection: This is a manual by G-4, GHQ Planning, Allied Forces, Southwest Pacific Area that delineates the tonnage and statistics for logistics planning. It has guidelines for creating and distributing the study and many charts of tonnage, broken down by personnel and vehicles for each particular unit type (Infantry division, cavalry division, airborne division, artillery battalion, etc.). It includes engineer, ordnance, quartermaster, signal and transport units as well as amphibious boats and small naval vessels. The last section is a list of symbols for aircraft and naval vessels.
